Josefine Teixidó Constans is the spirit behind Music Art Barcelona.
A music lover since the age of four, thanks to her French nuns’ school and her father, she has made it her lifestyle as a composer and sweet-voiced soprano, specialising in sacred music.
She has studied with great masters like Alfredo Kraus, Jaume Francisco Puig, Jaume Aragall and Montserrat Caballé. She wins hearts in concerts and ceremonies at Barcelona Cathedral, the basilica of La Concepción, the Monastery of Pedralbes, the Monastery of Poblet and Santa María del Mar, among many other churches around Europe.
How did Music Art begin? It all goes back to when she acquired a fabulous Faziola grand piano. What began with small concerts for the family in the lounge at home continued with the conversion of a private squash court into a concert venue… and culminated with the foundation of Music Art Barcelona, designed for and fully dedicated to music and art.
Josefine has already had guest artists as well-known as Albert Attenelle, Francesc Borrull, Victor Braojos, Ignasi Cambra, Enric Colomer, Carolina Estrada, Ricardo Estrada, Jordi Giró, José Menor, Natsuki Nishimoto, Jordi Romero and Ignasi Terrassa, among other pianists and singers.
